And you? Are you practicing your writing?
You have to write millions of words no one is ever going to see before you can write the ones that will change someone’s life.
Here's step by step guide for creative writing....
1-Decide what type of story you want to write.(write down all your ideas) It could be fantasy, science fiction, romance, mystery, thriller, or any other genre that interests you.(write a story that moves you).
2-Think about the central conflict of your story. What is the main problem or challenge that your protagonist(hero) will face?Develop a plot outline with key events, twists, and turns.
3-Create interesting and believable characters to populate your story. Think about their backgrounds, motivations, and personalities. Your main character (protagonist/hero) should undergo some kind of change or development throughout the story.
4-Consider where and when your story takes place. Is it set in the present day, the future, or a different world altogether? Develop the setting in detail to make it come alive for your readers.
5-Dialogue is crucial for bringing your characters to life and advancing the plot. Make sure your characters speak in a way that is true to their personalities and background.(write natural dialogues)
6-Create an engaging plot that keeps your readers hooked.Begin drafting your story, keeping your plot outline, characters, and setting in mind. Don't worry too much about getting everything perfect on the first draft—just focus on getting your ideas down on paper.
7-Once you've completed a draft of your story, go back and revise it. Look for areas where you can tighten up the plot, improve the pacing, or strengthen the character development. Editing is an important part of the writing process, so don't be afraid to make changes.
8-Once you're happy with your story, polish it up for a final draft.
9-There are several platforms where you can share your stories. If you're interested in sharing your story with a wider audience, consider exploring publishing options such as submitting to literary magazines, or self- publishing .
Don't heartless if some (readers) criticise your story .
Constructive criticism can help you identify areas for improvement and make your story stronger.
A cup of coffee and a peaceful environment is good for writing.
